ADA Title II Transition Plan
In accordance with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Cook County Department of Transportation and Highways (DoTH) has developed an ADA Transition Plan to serve as a guide to further the goals and initiatives set forth in the Connecting Cook County Long Range Transportation Plan by prioritizing pedestrian travel, promoting equal access as well as maintaining and modernizing existing facilities within the public right-of-way.

ADA Coordinator
A DoTH employee serves as the ADA Coordinator and is the point of contact for internal staff as well as the general public who may have questions, comments or concerns regarding ADA accessibility. In addition, the ADA Coordinator responds to complaints/comments, implements and assesses the self-evaluation, and ensures that the established ADA Transition Plan is followed and updated as needed.

Complaint Procedure
If you have concerns regarding curb ramps, crosswalks, pedestrian traffic signals or other services within the public right-of-way, please fill out an ADA Complaint Form and submit it to the ADA Coordinator listed above.
