Planning and Development: No Cash Bid (NCB) Program
The Cook County No Cash Bid (NCB) Program is an economic development tool designed to assist municipalities, and other taxing districts, in acquiring tax delinquent property for reuse as private development and tax reactivation or for tax exempt municipal use.
Private developers and others who would like to be a "Third Party Requestor" to a taxing district request should first contact the municipality in the area they are interested in redeveloping.
Any city, village, township, or part district within the boundaries of Cook County or the Cook County Forest Preserve District may submit a request to participate.
For more details, view this No Cash Bid Fact Sheet.
